The May Collection Highlights

Combining word-play with imagery, this "Cheers" and teacup design is perfect for a "thank you" note. This dynamic card features the Cheers stencil from the release. The citrus accents and soft ink blending give it a fresh, summery vibe. 

This card is all about vibrant color and uses the Bake Me A Cake stencil! I used a gradient ink-blending technique to create a bold, "frosted" look for the cake, finished off with shimmering gold candles for the perfect birthday wish.

This card features the Bows stencil. For a more sophisticated feel, these stenciled bows were paired with a deep teal cardstock. The contrast between the rich background and the golden shimmer creates a high-end, wrapped-gift effect.

This "Thank You" design uses soft mint tones and delicate bow accents with the Thank You Bows stencil. It’s a great example of how stencils can create a full-card pattern that feels light, airy, and professional.

When you want to go bold, this typography-heavy stencil is the way to go. This stencil is called Presents For Everybody. I layered shades of purple and magenta and used the repeat stenciling technique to create a high-energy background that makes the "Happy Birthday" sentiment pop.

This card showcases the more delicate side of the release using the Circles And Diamonds stencil. The intricate dot work creates a beautiful, textured backdrop for a small cluster of dried florals—perfect for a soft, feminine birthday greeting.

This release from A Colorful Life Designs truly highlights why stencils are a must-have in any craft room. Whether you are looking to create a quick five-minute card or a multi-layered masterpiece, these designs provide the perfect foundation.

What I love most about this specific drop is the balance between bold focal points, like the "Bake Me A Cake" stencil, and subtle textures like the dotted circles. It’s a collection that invites you to experiment with your favorite ink blending brushes, glitz gels, or even simple embossing to see how many different looks you can achieve.
