✂️ How This Card Came Together

Creating this double-motion interactive card was such a fun process, combining a sliding snowball mechanism with an action wobbler for maximum playfulness. Here is a quick look at how the design came together step by step:

 * Background and Sky: I started by ink blending a vibrant snowy night sky using rich blue reactive inks, adding splatters and snowflake details to build a frosty backdrop.

* Stamping and Coloring: I stamped and colored the cute characters and elements from Catherine Pooler's Frosty Friends stamp and die sets using Copic markers, bringing the two festive snowmen to life.

* The Slider Mechanism: To create the snowball fight action, I cut a curved slider channel into the panel and used Pear Blossom Press Snap 'N Spins and holographic stickers so the flying snowball glides smoothly across the scene.

* The Wobbler Action: For the second snowman, I mounted him onto a Pear Blossom Press Action Wobbler so he bounces and jiggles whenever the card is touched.

* Assembly and Finishing Touches: I layered a sparkly holographic snowbank at the bottom, added our interactive elements in place, and finished the card with a sweet stamped sentiment to complete the winter wonderland scene.

I hope this project inspires you to add a little extra movement to your next handmade card.
